Delicious Spinach dip!

Ready In: 30 min or less. Serves: 6 Cuisine: n/a


Ingredients


1 8oz Block of Cream Cheese

1 10oz Box of Frozen Chopped Spinach, thawed and squeezed out of any liquid

2 Cloves of Garlic, minced

1 Small Onion, chopped

1 Tbsp of Olive Oil

½ cup of Parmiggiano Reggiano

1/3 cup of Water

Salt and Pepper, ( optional) ( experiment with spices you can make it as spicy as you want)

1 Bag of Pita ( any type and any amount)



Instructions:

1) Grease the saucepan ( or a bigger pan) with the oil, and Sautee the garlic and onion medium heat until they are slightly brown

2) Add the cream cheese and cook it until blended and semi melted ( around 1-2 minutes) 3) Add the spinach and water and season with a seasoning of your choice. Cook the mixture for just a few minutes or until its hot, bubbly and creamy. 4) Stir in the cheese. * optional add a layer of cheese on top and bake it for a few minutes in the oven or serve without baking*


5) Heat up the pita for approximately 5 min – 10 min per side and cut into several pieces


Tips:

Tip #1: * After stirring the cheese you cab add a layer of cheese on top and bake it for a few minutes in the oven or serve without baking*

· Tip #2: When adding the salt and pepper start at ½ a tsp and add more depending on your tastes

· Tip #3: You can use bread or veggies instead of pita with the spinach dip!
