Cajun Parmesan Salmon!

Ready In: 25 min. Serves: 2

Ingredients: (Approximately $14.00 CAD)

· 2 salmon fillets

· Olive oil (1-2 tbsp)

· 2 tbsp. butter or margarine

· 2 tsp. Cajun seasoning

· Black pepper

· Salt

· Juice from one lemon

· 1 tbsp. honey

· 1 tbsp. chopped parsley

· 2 tbsp. grated parmesan

· Minced garlic (around 3-4 cloves)

Preparation:

1. Season your salmon with salt, pepper, and Cajun seasoning on both sides (unless it has skin)

2. On medium-high heat, place your seasoned salmon fillets on a skillet with olive oil. Cook for approx. 6 minutes on each side.

3. Take your salmon off the heat. Reduce heat to low-medium. Now we’ll make the sauce.

4. Add your butter and minced garlic to the skillet. Then, mix in your parmesan, lemon juice, honey, Cajun seasoning, and chopped parsley

5. Add the salmon back into the pan. Continue to cook the salmon until fully cooked, whilst basting in your sauce.

Tips & Suggestions:

· Add lemon slices or parsley on top for garnish!

· If you don’t have honey, use syrup as a substitute.

· I usually make potatoes or rice alongside the salmon, next to some veggies
